Community Services
Get out and participate in making a difference for San Diego’s most vulnerable youth! No long-term commitment needed. It is satisfying to reach out beyond the boundaries of our buildings and do some hands on work for programs within our community.

Foundation
This position is a liaison/conduit between our San Diego IFMA Chapter and the IFMA Foundation, a non-profit organization affiliated with IFMA that provides scholarships, research grants and papers/resources on specific research topics.

Government Affairs
Reviews changes in any government entity that can affect the facility manager and informs the membership; assist members looking for specific information; and reports on International IFMA actions, such as benchmarking.

This committee handles event planning for the Chapter, coordinating with various committees to establish location, venue, menu, and setup for Chapter events, which include educational luncheons/seminars and other special events.

Job Bank
The IFMA San Diego Job Bank provides a vehicle for informing qualified Facility Managers of available facility management positions. Employers use this service knowing that excellent candidates are available and will be notified of opportunities.

Sponsorship
In coordination with the E&PD and Special Event committees, obtains sponsorship funds, services and products for events, raffles, and other identified needs. Prepares the Sponsor and Member awards for the annual recognition banquet.
Succession Planning
This committee assists the board with developing and recruiting committee leaders to guarantee the success of the chapter now and in the future. This committee also recommends new executive board candidates and organizes the annual election.
